WE HAVE EVENTS HAPPENING YEAR – ROUND
FOR MEMBERS AND VISITORS

Our favorite seasons in Vermont’s North Country, known as The Kingdom, are Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.  Don’t make us choose, we love them all.  Winter runs five months, giving us more snow on the mountains and ice on our lakes than anywhere else in the Northeast.  Whether it’s down hill skiing and boarding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling or fat bike riding, no one beats Vermont’s North Country in the winter.  Yet at other times of the year we love the running of the sap, the blossoming of the Dandelions for as far as the eye can see, the richness of long summer days on the lakes, biking trails, and hiking trails, plus who can forget the glory of fall foliage where the mountains meet the lakes.

While we may be among the last to see Spring arrive, we are most definitely The Place Where Fall Foliage Starts.  And our annual Fall Foliage Festival celebrates appropriately, featuring a hometown parade, Chilifest Contest, a whimsical Scarecrow Contest, Rubber Duck Regatta, and a Running Marathon plus art and music throughout the area. And don’t even get us started on the tremendous food and beverages here!  Let’s just say it’s nationally renowned and award winning.

Come see us where the mountains meet the lakes and enjoy the relaxing good life.  It’s a great place to live, work and play.
